Switching Over to New Blog...
Topic: TV Watch Online

You may notice that blog entries are disappearing from this blog. As I have already announced, I have combined the T.W.O. BLOG and Interviews Blog into one main blog, which can be found HERE at the Blogger URL.

Each time I transfer an entry over, it will be deleted from this old blog.

It may take a while to transfer the whole thing, since there are a lot of entries, but I will get through it all eventually, and then be able to feel a lot better working exclusively with Blogger.

New Page: American Idol on iTunes

I have mentioned before that I have wanted to link to all of the audio performances featured on American Idol.  I have now created a page on TV Watch Online called American Idol on iTunes where I do just that.  On that page, it is broken down week by week with links to each song on iTunes.  You will NOT be charged just by clicking on a link; it will only take you to the respective iTunes page.  This new page will be updated every week after a performance episode.

TV Schedule page added

Before today, you could find the TV schedule for the week located on the right side of T.W.O.'s home page.  Now, it has its own page, called TV Schedule, that follows a similar format to the recently added TV Appearances page.  The added bonus of this section having its own page is that it won't show just the current week (as it used to), but a schedule of the following two weeks of TV shows.  The link can be found below the Announcements section (on the home page) above the links to the TV Appearances, award shows, and premieres/finales pages.

Glee Page Debut

TV Watch Online has now debuted the page devoted to the hit Fox TV show, Glee.  Go check it out!  The page follows the same format as the rest of the scripted show pages, with the focus being on links to news articles.

Glee Page Coming in 2010

For quite a while now, you have had the chance to vote in a poll asking if there should be a page for Glee on T.W.O.  I said on Twitter not that long ago that on or around Dec.9 (the date of the last Glee ep of the year) I would make a decision.  That day has passed, and now I have made my decision.  I am announcing that starting on January 1, 2010, TV Watch Online will have a page devoted to the hit Fox musical comedy Glee.  The show does not come back until April 13, but they may be releasing original content during the hiatus to tide us over until the return; that is why I will debut the page in January instead of in April.
The reason why I waited until after Dec.9 to make this announcement is because I wanted to wait until the initial 13 ep order was done airing to see how I felt about the show.  I am now a devoted Gleek, I bought the soundtracks, and will possibly buy the season 1 DVD later in the year (which would be a first for me to consider buying a scripted TV show on DVD; usually I only buy reality/unscripted shows on DVD).
I am tempted to debut the page now, but I think the start of the new year is the perfect time to do so.

TV Appearances Page Now Online

A little early, but T.W.O.'s TV Appearances page is now available to view online. On this page, you will be able to find out when the cast from featured shows and movies will be on talk and other shows. For example, if you head to the page right now, you can see that Patrick Dempsey will make an appearance on Sunday's Extreme Makeover, while Jennifer Hudson will be on Monday's Oprah. December will see the airings of both Jennifer Hudson's and Carrie Underwood's holiday specials; those types of shows will be listed as well.

TV Appearances Page Coming Next Week

This fall, I decided to add in TV appearances by the cast and stars of the various shows and movies featured on T.W.O.  At the moment, they are incorporated in with the news articles sections.  But starting Sunday, November 29, a TV Appearances page will debut so that it will be quick and easy to see when your favorite stars will be guesting on various talk and other shows.

Article Links are now back on TV Watch Online!

Tripod has scrapped the mandated migration to a new site builder, which means that TV Watch Online will not be affected at all and I can now access and update the site.

Yesterday's news article links (which I had to post here on the BLOG) are now up on their respective pages on the main site, and today's will be up in a little bit.

If you have wondered why I haven't updated the site in over 24 hours, you should be following me on Twitter. And if you do follow me on Twitter, you will know that the migration process over to a new site builder within Tripod is experiencing difficulties for TV Watch Online. Because of that, I am choosing not to update the site until I can make sure everything can be saved and that it won't look like a disaster.

In the meantime, the article links you normally see on the site will be posted here on the BLOG. The best and fastest way to find out when I post articles here (if you don't want to constantly come here to see if I have) is to follow TV Watch Online on Twitter @TVWatchOnline.

T.W.O. Launches on Blogger

TV Watch Online has now launched on Blogger, called TV Watch Online Interviews (T.W.O. I keep forgetting to talk about this, but last week, August 13, was the 5 year anniversary of TV Watch Online (originally called Dodgeroo54's Website). I will be celebrating by tweaking the site over the next weeks (mostly at the beginning of September), and launching T.W.O. on Blogger. Stay tuned for all the tweaks, updates, and changes...

TV Watch Online on Blogger

TV Watch Online will soon have another outlet, besides the main website, this blog and the store: Blogger. For now, I will not reveal what will be featured there, but I am looking forward to its debut sometime this summer. You might be thinking, why open another blog when T.W.O. already has one? The main reason is to keep my disc space low on Tripod by using an outside source. The secondary reason is that, at least in the beginning, the outlet on Blogger will not feature the normal commentary I give here, but a brand-new feature not seen on this website before.

New Site-Editing Tool

Starting July 31, Tripod will be using a new site-editing tool called Webon, and discontinuing its old Trellix Site Builder.  Due to this change, TV Watch Online may very likely experience some changes in look and style.  I will do everything I can to make sure all the features and information you currently see on the website remain the same.  Sometime in July, Tripod will start allowing members to automatically convert their websites to the new editing tool.  During that time, I will test the waters myself and make sure that TV Watch Online remains your reliable source for the latest television, movie and entertainment news.

Oscar Predictions
Topic: TV Watch Online

Tomorrow is the 2009 Academy Awards. And to lead up to the ceremony, I have now posted my predictions at TV Watch Online's Academy Award page.  I used a similar strategy that I used at this year's Golden Globes.  And if I do say so myself, I believe I will do better than I usually do.  It seems that this year, I have a better sense of who will eventually win.  But then again, you never know, considering I only got 4 correct at one of the award shows one year.  Anyway...check out our Academy Awards page to check out the nominees and my predictions.  The 2009 Oscars will air tomorrow at 8et/5pt on ABC.
