Title: N/A
Coming Soon...

11/20: [Yesterday was] last new GA episode for a bit. We come back Jan 14 with special crossover
episode. PP has TWO new explosive episodes on Dec 3. [ Source]
11/12: Sources confirm ... that [Katherine Heigl's] taking another leave of absence from Grey’s —
but this time her reasons are personal, not professional. Heigl will be going on a belated maternity leave to spend some QT
with new daughter Naleigh. As a result, Izzie will be MIA for another string of episodes (most likely in early 2010.)

11/10: People's Choice Awards Nominations: Grey's Anatomy [TV Drama], Patrick Dempsey [TV Drama Actor], Katherine
Heigl [TV Drama Actress]. [ Source]
11/8: TV Watch: Eric Dane will be a guest on Thursday night's Jimmy Kimmel Live (12:05-1:05am, ABC).
11/5: Shonda Rhimes says there are “some shocking things” in store for the newlyweds [Alex & Izzie]
during the second half of the season. “The next part of [their] journey,” she teases, “is going to be pretty
interesting.” I don’t know about you, but I get a little scared when Shonda throws words around like “pretty”
and “interesting.” [ Source]
10/25: TV Watch: Patrick Dempsey will be hitting the talk show circuit on Wednesday: Good Morning America
(7-9am, ABC), Live with Regis and Kelly (9-10am, ABC), and Late Show with David Letterman (11:35pm-12:35am,
CBS).
10/23: People's Choice Awards Nominee Selection: Grey's Anatomy is in the running for 'Favorite TV Drama,' Patrick
Dempsey for 'Favorite TV Drama Actor,' and Katherine Heigl for 'Favorite TV Drama Actress.' Click here to vote for who you think should be nominated. Beginning November 10, you will have the chance to vote for the nominees;
the winners will be announced on January 6, 2010 on CBS.
10/18: TV Watch: Kevin McKidd will be a guest on this Thursday's The Bonnie Hunt Show; check your local
listings for the time and channel in your area.
10/8: I'm hearing that Episode 6 will feature a Rashomon-style story, as a death in the ER is told
from the perspective of many characters. But don't worry, Grey's won't abandon its tried-and-true storytelling methods. "People
shouldn't expect the series to be wholly reinvented, but we are asking people to take a leap of faith with us and shake things
up a little," executive producer Krista Vernoff tells me. "It's going to be a different experience for our audience, but I'm
loving the episodes." [ Source]
9/30: Seattle Grace’s merger with Mercy West claims its first victim this week. (Hint: The pink-slipped party
is female and has been around since season 1. And no, it’s not Mer. Or Izzie. Or Cristina. Or Bailey.) [ Source]
9/22: Shonda Rhimes: There are currently no plans for Ellen to be missing at all. [ Source]
9/17: The looming shakeup at Seattle Grace will have everyone fearing for his/her jobs. And that includes Cristina,
who is forced to consider the unthinkable: a career in pediatrics. [ Source]
9/7: TV Watch: Katherine Heigl will be a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this Friday, September 11.
Check your local listings for time and channel.
9/3: Dempsey has been “patiently” waiting to get a story that wasn’t directly tied to the Der-Mer
love story. And this season he’ll get his wish. “Derek hasn’t been a fully explored character separate from
Meredith,” Vernoff admits. “The fact that by necessity Ellen is going to need a little less screen time gives
us more encouragement to explore Derek as a doctor.” This includes what Vernoff describes as an “extraordinary
medical story” involving Derek and a patient in this season’s sixth episode, directed by co-star Chandra Wilson.

9/2: Grey's Anatomy is on Lifetime 3 times a day now. You can start at the very beginning... [ Source]
8/25: Sara Ramirez, Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy, has been nominated in the category of 'TV Drama: Actress'
at the 2009 ALMA Awards, which will air on September 18 (8-10pm) on ABC. [ Source]
8/25: Sources tell us that Grey's Anatomy has cast two very hairy new guest stars: a monkey and a bear. [ Source]
8/20: The Mer-Der relationship will be written a little lighter during the first half of the season as a result of
Ellen Pompeo’s real-life pregnancy and subsequent maternity leave. “I think we would be irresponsible writers
if we didn’t give a woman who’s seven-months pregnant a little less time on her feet,” maintains exec producer
Krista Vernoff. “She’s waddling around seven-months pregnant about to push a baby out of her body. We have a responsibility
to alleviate her screen time a little bit.” [ Source]
8/12: On Grey's Anatomy, who will the interns be this season? ... This year's class will include a bleeding-heart
caregiver, an exacting perfectionist and a scheming underminer. In other words, the staff of Seattle Grace will meet their
mini-mes, and much irony will ensue! [ Source]
7/28: Grey's Anatomy has been nominated in the category of 'Choice TV Show Drama' at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
If you are within the age limit, you can click here to vote for Grey's Anatomy and all of your favorites.
7/17: Both Sandra Oh (Cristina Yang) and Chandra Wilson (Miranda Bailey) have been nominated in the category of 'Supporting
Actress In A Comedy Series,' and Sharon Lawrence, who played Robbie Stevens in the episode "No Good at Saying Sorry (One More
Chance)" for 'Guest Actress In A Drama Series' at the 2009 Emmy Awards. Chandra Wilson has also been nominated for
'Actress In A Miniseries Or Movie' for her role as Yvonne in the TV movie Accidental Friendship.
7/15: [T]here's been talk that Season 6 might pick up a few months after the nail-biting May finale, but sources
tell me that's not the case. In fact, the Sept. 24 opener will find both Izzie and disfigured George still coding —
and as anyone following the headlines can tell you, T.R. Knight isn't returning to the cast. Over the two-hour premiere, watch
for the outcome of this traumatic scenario to weigh heavily on a lot of people — including at least one doctor
whose reaction you may have taken for granted. [ Source]
7/9: There will be a priest [in the Grey's Anatomy premiere], but no, he won't be marrying anyone off. His
presence is needed for something far less celebratory. [ Source]
About the Show:
Meet Meredith
Grey. She's a woman trying to lead a real life while doing a job that makes having a real life impossible. Meredith
is a first year surgical intern at Seattle Grace Hospital, the toughest surgical residency program west of Harvard. She and
fellow first-year interns Cristina Yang, Izzie Stevens, George O'Malley and Alex Karev were students yesterday. Today they're
doctors and, in a world where on the job training can be a matter of life and death, they're all juggling the ups and downs
of their own personal lives.
